Purpose of YoutubeManagerMM
The purpose of YoutubeManagerMM is to help creators and businesses manage and run YouTube Live streams from a simple web dashboard, using their own YouTube channel.
YoutubeManagerMM is not a social network and not a general video editor. It is a streaming operations tool: you create a stream configuration, attach media or a web overlay, connect YouTube, and start or stop the live broadcast from the dashboard.
What YoutubeManagerMM does
- User signup and login for a YoutubeManagerMM account
- Connect a YouTube channel through Google OAuth
- Create and edit YouTube Live broadcast settings (title, privacy, schedule)
- Upload web overlays, videos, or audio used during a live stream
- Start, monitor, and stop YouTube Live stream jobs from the dashboard
Why YoutubeManagerMM requests Google / YouTube user data
YoutubeManagerMM requests access to your Google/YouTube account only so it can create and manage live broadcasts on the channel you choose. Specifically, YoutubeManagerMM uses this access to:
- Identify your YouTube channel after you authorize Google sign-in
- Create YouTube Live broadcasts and linked live streams on your behalf
- Transition broadcasts between ready, testing, live, and complete states
- Read broadcast/stream status needed to operate and troubleshoot go-live
YoutubeManagerMM does not sell your Google data, does not use it for advertising, and does not access unrelated Google products. Access is used only to provide the YouTube Live streaming features described above. You can revoke access anytime in Google Account permissions or by disconnecting YouTube inside YoutubeManagerMM.
How to use YoutubeManagerMM
- Create a YoutubeManagerMM account
